Join us in-person on Sunday, May 5th in Livingston, NJ to walk together in honor of Journey for the Living!
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to walk alongside Michelle Charlesworth, distinguished reporter and co-anchor of WABC Eyewitness News on Saturday and Sunday Mornings, and Mark Schonwetter, Holocaust survivor and the namesake of our foundation.
At the event, we will honor Michelle Charlesworth with our 2024 Voice of Kindness Award for her unwavering and generous support of the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation.

WHAT IS JOURNEY FOR THE LIVING?
Mark Schonwetter along with his mother and younger sister walked 15 miles to escape their hometown in Poland to go to a ghetto where they thought they would be safer.
Journey for the Living invites individuals to take the journey and walk (run or ride) in Mark’s footsteps while raising money for Holocaust education and bringing awareness to this important topic.
