Attendees will have the unique opportunity to walk alongside Claudia Oshry, comedian and co-host of The Toast, and Mark Schonwetter, Holocaust survivor and the namesake of our foundation.

At the event, we will honor Claudia with our 2023 Voice of Kindness Award due to her unwavering and generous support of the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation.

WHAT IS JOURNEY FOR THE LIVING?

Mark Schonwetter along with his mother and younger sister walked 15 miles to escape their hometown in Poland to go to a ghetto where they thought they would be safer.

 

Journey for the Living invites individuals to take the journey and walk (run or ride) in Mark’s footsteps while raising money for Holocaust education and bringing awareness to this important topic.
